MEET THE FOUNDER


HōRA was born out of the growing need to lead a more sustainable lifestyle, resist the lure of fast fashion and consume less clothing that has a negative impact on the environment. Based on these principles and integrating the values of reuse/recycle and conscious consumption, HōRA’s founder Maria combined her lifelong love of vintage clothing, with her 20-years experience in retail, to create a slow fashion brand made of timeless and impeccably made vintage pieces, that can be worn for years to come.

HōRA’s mission is to inspire the wearer to switch into a more conscious mindset of wearing and consuming fashion, that’s not centred on passing trends and instant, short-lived gratification, but on choosing pieces that are defined by their lasting design, originality and interesting details.


What makes HōRA different is the way Maria curates each season’s collection by carefully sourcing individual pieces that are classic and versatile enough to slip into any contemporary closet, as well as be worn together to create a beautiful capsule wardrobe.

The brand aims to encourage consumers to create their own love story with vintage fashion and think creatively about how it can fit in their lives and in their wardrobes.
